During the winter months November 06 to March 07 the total weight from Zurich and Basel airports increased by 100 tons compared with last year`s period to a total of 2828 tons. Monthly average of 566 tons. The heaviest month was December with 695 tons. Strongest destinations were Tokyo, Seoul, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Chicago.

From Geneva Cointrin airport 327 tons were uplifted, an increase of 33 tons compared to winter 05/06. A monthly average of 65 tons. Heaviest month was December with 101 tons. Strongest destinations were the USA, Middle East, Jakarta, Manila and Singapore. Geneva continues to grow, too.

More than 110 destinations in the Far and Middle East, USA, in Canada, South America and Europe remain available in the program of advance* airpool.

advance® Airpool irresistibly growing - summer period 06 show record figures again

During the summer timetable April-October 2006 the uplifted tonnage increased heavily once again by a strong 29% compared with the same period of last year. From Zurich and Basel a total of 4684 tons were flown, an average of 669 tons per month. With 814 tons October was the heaviest and unexcelled month. The three top destinations again were Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York followed by Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul and Mumbai.

From Geneva 514 tons were brought up in the air. This is a massive increase of 220 tons compared with the winter period 05/06. The three top destinations here were Jakarta, the USA and Hong Kong.

To date the advance® airpool program consists of more than 44 overseas destinations as well as more than 66 additional destinations in the USA, in South America, in the Middle East and in Europe.

advance® Airpool – the success story continues...

Air freight tonnage again increased over the winter period (November 05 to March 06). During these months a total of 2,725 tonnes of freight were flown out of Zurich and Basel airports, which is a further increase of 16% against the previous year. Handing 294 tonnes, Geneva airport alone increased its tonnage by 44% within a year. The three top destinations have been Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York.

With 40 overseas destinations and various destinations in Southamerica, Mideast and Europe the airpool schedule comes up to a respectable size.

The airpool companies are very satisfied with their harmonic partnership that led to such a great success.

Advance airpool continues its success: remarkable revenue increase summer timetable 2005

The uplifted tonnage was increased once again. During the summer period (April - October) a total of 3625 t were flown - an average of 518 t per month. This resulting to an 8,8% hike compared with the tonnage handled during same time in 2004. The three advance partners are very satisfied with the airpool's development.

The airpool cooperation at Geneva airport - started in November 2004 - is growing fast. During the summer period the uplifted tonnage reached a considerable 675 t. This is a remarkable trend at Geneva.

For the winter timetable (November - March) Rio de Janeiro will be added to the already existing 44 overseas destinations. In addition a great number of European destinations will also be added to the advance program.

Records are made to be beaten.

In April, the first month of the summer timetable, advance airpool has skyrocketed once again. The good results of the winter timetable - with a monthly average of 469 tons and a high month of December with 568 tons - were again topped in April with 594 tons. In addition, another 74 tons were shipped from Geneva Cointrin airport. Here the partners` cooperation commenced in November 2004.

advance airpool - the Swiss forwarder alliance has developped itself to a considerable size and power in Switzerland. With this pool cooperation the middle class and families owned forwarding companies are offering all advantages of a big player to their target customers being middle class manufacturers and shippers in Switzerland.
